This has been a pretty decent week. First, I understand that not everyone is as fortunate as I am to be able to do any aspect of any of the things I do - though, though I wouldn't say I'm out of the studious zone; I remain a student of the lessons of life as best I can and try to remember the juicer for lemonade. But, with that said, it really has been a positive week. Sunday and Monday were reminders that things should not be taken for granted but that one should take advantage of good moments to pursue meaningful things. On Tuesday, I saw some opportunity to dig a little deeper into my own spiritual development and study about the why's to the what's in what I believe. On Wednesday, I took most of the day and devoted it to cultivating a better environment for my household. Thursday and today were fine ways to end such a week.
Life gets tough. Make no mistake about it, life gets really tough. If you're anything like me, you often find yourself looking for ways to prod your mouth into a smile but more often than not end up looking at how well others are doing and that is not always encouraging. Between the stay-at-home orders and the lack of civil engagement, we can be left missing the sound of laughter. Sometimes a good song will remind us of a good moment often burried by little things that stress us out and pick at our attentions until we are left like a grapeless vine (that is bad imagery).
Don't give up.
Don't give in to the pressures.
There is still hope. There is still time.
HEAVEN AND HELL
Heaven cannot simply be a state of mind; nor can Hell be purely a haunting fiction.
...
The dissatisfaction felt when one cannot extinguish the possibility of these as places of being can be startling.

The question is: which is your destination?
